About the Event

The 2025 Urhobo Language Competition, sponsored by Senator Ede Dafinone in memory of Senator Pius Akpor Ewherido, invites students from the Delta Central Senatorial District in Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary institutions across Nigeria to participate.


The competition aims to promote and preserve the Urhobo language through active engagement in writing and speech. Eligible participants range from Primary 1 to the 500-level university students.
